About Smiles Workshops
The courses deal with basic obedience; sit, stay, heel (on and off the leash) and the recall. Any problems will be reviewed and dealt with. The courses are designed to help owners to recognise and understand their dog’s behaviour.
By understanding your dog, successful training can take place and bad behaviour can be corrected.
Training is a combination of positive reinforcement and negative punishment and understanding – a dog is rewarded for desired behaviour and not rewarded for undesired behaviour.
Dogs like pleasing their people – give them the opportunity and understanding and you will have a well-behaved friend for life.
Owning a dog should be fun! Everything you do with your dog should be fun. And the better trained your dog, the more fun you are going to have. In addition, you will have a happier and more confident dog.
